Flat rate diagnostic

A complete diagnostic for a flat 100 dollars

One flat price for a full system diagnostic, with the measurements written down and handed to you.

A hundred dollars gets a licensed technician to your door and a complete diagnostic of the system that is giving you trouble. Not a quick look, not a sales visit dressed up as an inspection. An actual evaluation with numbers behind it.

We publish the price because the industry has made this confusing on purpose. Free diagnostics are rarely free, and trip charges that turn into 89 dollars plus a diagnostic fee plus a service fee are just a longer way of hiding the number.

If the fix is simple and you approve it while we are there, we get it done. If it is bigger, you get a written quote and the readings to back it up. Either way you know what you paid before we ever pull into the driveway.

Why it matters

What you get out of it.

One number, said up front

A hundred dollars. Not a trip charge with a diagnostic stacked on top of it, and not a bait price that grows on the invoice.

A real diagnostic

Electrical, refrigerant, airflow and controls. We test under load and record what we find, on cooling and heating alike.

You keep the readings

Superheat, subcool, delta T, static pressure, capacitor values and amp draw, written down and left with you.

Zero pressure

If the system is fine, we will tell you it is fine. That happens more often than you would think, and it still costs a hundred dollars, not a new condenser.

No surprises

Exactly what the job includes.

  • Thermostat operation and staging verified
  • Filter, return and airflow path inspected
  • Static pressure measured across the air handler
  • Evaporator and condenser coil condition checked
  • Refrigerant charge evaluated by superheat and subcool
  • Capacitors tested for actual microfarad value, not just visual condition
  • Contactors, relays and wiring inspected for pitting and heat damage
  • Blower motor and compressor amp draw compared to nameplate
  • Condensate drain and float switch tested
  • Gas furnace heat exchanger inspection and flue check in heating season
  • Written findings with recommended repairs and firm pricing

How it goes

The process, start to finish.

  • Book it

Call or text (830) 398-2260. We will confirm the arrival window and the flat 100 dollar price on that call.

  • We diagnose

Expect us to spend real time on it. A proper diagnostic on a split system takes 45 to 90 minutes.

  • You get the answer

Plain language, the numbers behind it, and firm pricing on anything that needs fixing.

  • You decide

Approve a repair, take the report and think it over, or do nothing at all. No follow up sales calls.

$100 Service Call questions

Is the 100 dollars applied to the repair?

The service call covers the diagnostic itself, which is genuine work with a licensed tech and calibrated instruments. Repair pricing is quoted separately and you approve it before we start. We would rather charge honestly for the diagnosis than pretend it was free and bury it in the parts price.

What if there turns out to be nothing wrong?

Then you pay a hundred dollars and we tell you the system is healthy, with the readings to prove it. That is a legitimate outcome and we will not invent a repair to justify the visit.

Does the price change after hours?

Late nights, weekends and holidays can carry a premium, and long drives past the core service area can too. We tell you the exact number on the phone before dispatching. The 100 dollar rate is the standard business hours price.

Do you charge per system?

The flat rate covers diagnosing the system you called about. If you want a second or third system evaluated on the same visit, we discount the additional ones since the truck is already there.

What areas does the flat rate cover?

Bandera, Pipe Creek, Lakehills, Helotes, Boerne and greater San Antonio at the standard rate. Kerrville and farther out into the Hill Country may carry a small mileage charge, and we tell you the exact number before we come.
