New systems
Complete HVAC system installation
New systems and full replacements, sized by calculation and commissioned with the readings written down.
Most of the difference between a system that lasts twenty years and one that fails in nine has nothing to do with the brand on the box. It is sizing, airflow, line set practice, charge accuracy and whether anyone bothered to commission the equipment after it was bolted down.
We install complete systems for replacements, additions and new construction across San Antonio and the Hill Country. Straight cool with a furnace, heat pumps, packaged units and dual fuel. What we install is whatever the load calculation and your budget actually point to.
You get a one page quote with the equipment named, the capacity and efficiency spelled out, and every part of the install listed. No good, better, best ladder engineered to steer you upward.

Why it matters
What you get out of it.
Sized by calculation
Load calculation on every install. Oversized equipment short cycles, leaves the house humid and dies early, and it is the most common mistake in this trade.
Airflow before equipment
We measure static pressure and check duct sizing first. A great condenser strangled by undersized return duct is money wasted.
Documented commissioning
Superheat, subcool, delta T, static pressure and amp draw all recorded at startup and given to you in writing.
Warranty registered for you
Manufacturer registration filed within the window so the full parts warranty is actually in force. Plenty of homeowners find out too late that nobody did this.
No surprises
Exactly what the job includes.
- Load calculation and equipment selection matched to your home
- Old system recovered, removed and disposed of properly
- New line set where the existing one cannot be safely reused, brazed under nitrogen purge
- Plenum and transitions fabricated and sealed with mastic
- New pad, disconnect, whip and float switch
- System evacuated to 500 microns with a documented decay test
- Charge weighed in and verified by subcool or superheat as the metering device requires
- Thermostat installed and configured for correct staging
- Full startup report with every reading recorded
- Permit and inspection where the jurisdiction requires it
How it goes
The process, start to finish.
Evaluate
We look at the existing equipment, the duct, the electrical and the envelope, and we measure before we recommend.
Calculate and specify
Load calculation drives capacity. From there we lay out two or three real options with the tradeoffs explained.
Schedule
Most residential changeouts are one day, occasionally two if duct work is involved. We tell you which before you commit.
Install
Drop cloths down, floors protected, workspace left cleaner than we found it. That is not a slogan, it is the job.
Commission and hand off
Readings taken, thermostat walked through, filter sizes written down, warranty registered, paperwork in your hands.

HVAC Installation questions
How much does a new HVAC system cost?
A complete residential changeout typically runs between 8,000 and 16,000 dollars depending on capacity, efficiency, whether duct work is involved and whether you go heat pump or gas. We give a firm number after the evaluation, and that number is what you pay.
How long does installation take?
A straight changeout is usually one day, start to finish, and you will have cooling that evening. Adding duct work, relocating equipment or converting to a heat pump can push it to two.
Heat pump or gas furnace in the Hill Country?
Heat pumps make a lot of sense here. Our winters are mild enough that a modern heat pump covers nearly all of them efficiently. Where you already have gas service and long cold snaps matter, dual fuel gives you the best of both. We will run the comparison for your house.
What SEER2 rating should I buy?
The federal minimum in the southern region is 14.3 SEER2. Stepping up to 16 or 17 SEER2 usually pays back in a house that runs cooling eight months a year. Going far beyond that rarely does. We will show you the payback rather than sell you the top of the line by default.
Do you install equipment I buy myself?
Usually not, and here is why: homeowner-purchased equipment almost never carries a valid manufacturer warranty, which leaves you exposed on a ten thousand dollar purchase. We would rather quote you a fair price on equipment we can stand behind.
